Job Description

As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for leading high-profile projects across various engineering disciplines. Your primary goal is to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project coordinators, to develop and implement project plans, manage resources, and identify potential risks and opportunities.

With strong leadership skills and experience in project management, you will be able to motivate and guide your team members to achieve their best performance. You will also be responsible for communicating project progress to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects within budget and timeline constraints. They will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Project Management Background: Minimum 10 years' experience in project management, with more than 5 years in engineering consulting.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management Practice: Essential.
  • Commercial Experience: Strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, including engineering services contracts.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects of at least $30M in value.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
