Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Behavioural Health Specialist. In this role, you will work directly with individuals of all ages, helping them manage and improve their behaviours through tailored interventions.

  • You will assess client needs, develop behaviour management plans, and collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Your role will be integral in providing support, guidance, and education to both clients and their families in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct behavioural assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
  2. Implement behaviour modification techniques and monitor progress.
  3. Participate in regular training and professional development.
  4. Work extensively within correctional facilities, adapting to these settings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Registered NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner is a must. A background in Social Work, Teaching, Occupational Therapy, or a related field is an advantage.
  • A problem-solving mindset - you can think fast and adapt when things don't go to plan.
  • A driver's licence and own vehicle - because you'll be out in the field making things happen.
  • NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, and right to work in Australia.
