Job Title: Park Conservation Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Park Conservation Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering park services and ensuring the effective delivery of services at a district level.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or equivalent experience in a similar field. They will also possess excellent self-management, supervisory, customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have a medium rigid (or higher) driver's licence and relevant knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver park conservation programs as directed by the Team Leader
  • Report to the Team Leader
  • Provide on-ground works in park management
  • Maintain basic asset maintenance practices
  • Perform office administration and on-ground works

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or equivalent experience
  • Excellent self-management and supervisory skills
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Medium rigid (or higher) driver's licence
  • Relevant knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures
