Description:

SYC Education and Training is a leading provider of accredited training courses. We are seeking an experienced Trades Training Professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various trades including carpentry, plumbing, concreting, roof plumbing, plastering, and more.

Key responsibilities will include delivering efficient and effective training and assessment to clients, adapting training to meet the varied learning needs of each student, and conducting student inductions into the course or qualification.

The ideal candidate will possess strong time management and organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to complete administrative tasks digitally.

In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will hold a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) and be willing to obtain this qualification after commencing employment.

About You:

  • Relevant industry experience with exposure to various trades.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • 'Up front' engaging presentation skills with the ability to adapt one's approach and maintain effectiveness with a variety of people and situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks digitally.
  • A flexible mindset.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its equivalent) OR be willing to obtain this qualification after commencing employment.
  • Hold and maintain an approved First Aid Certificate.
  • Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia.
  • Have possession of a current valid Driver's License, willingness to drive.
