We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Boilermaker/First Class Welder.

About the Role
  • Maintenance activities will be carried out in accordance with established plans and procedures.
  • Breakdown maintenance must be conducted safely and efficiently.
  • The maintenance information system will need to be updated accurately and regularly.
  • All required reports must be completed correctly and on time.
  • The status of plant and equipment must be monitored and reported to the Line Manager as needed.
  • The successful candidate will need to understand policies, procedures, and legislative obligations.
  • Corrective action may be necessary in response to reported defects.
  • The candidate will work in accordance with shutdown department HSEQ plans.
  • The work must be carried out in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Potential safety hazards must be identified and reported promptly.
About You
  • A Fabrication Trade Certificate is essential for this role.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar position is highly desirable.
  • The successful candidate will need to have solid knowledge of welding procedures.
  • Excellent fabrication, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing skills are required for Machinery and Fixed Plant equipment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are necessary for this position.
  • Previous FIFO or mine site experience is an advantage.
  • Working at Heights certification is mandatory.
  • Confined Space certification is also required.
  • A White card certification is essential.
