Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Gardening Support Specialist to join our team. As a Gardening Support Specialist, you will work with volunteers of varying skills and abilities to provide support and guidance in gardening tasks.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service skills;
  • Supporting and guiding volunteers in gardening tasks;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients, staff, and volunteers;

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a passionate and collaborative team to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and people living with disability and mental illness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in gardening is required;
  • Fantastic customer service skills;
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
  • A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
  • Basic computer and paperwork skills;

You will also need to hold a current Western Australian Drivers License with no restrictions and a Rights to work in Australia.

Benefits

This is a part-time permanent position offering:

  • Hourly rate of $33.82;
  • Attractive salary packaging options (up to $15,900 per year tax-free);
  • An additional $2,650 for Meals and Entertainment;
