**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Theatre team in Numurkah. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care within the perioperative environment. This includes assessing, prioritizing, and managing patient care to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care within the perioperative environment.
  • Assess, prioritize, and manage patient care to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the broader healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

About You:

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing, including at least one or more of the following areas: Anaesthetics, Theatre, Recovery, CSSD, or Day Procedure Unit
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Competence in intermediate computer skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (highly desirable)
