Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Process Designer to join our team. As a Trainee Process Designer, you will be responsible for developing and marking up process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs) for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Markup P&IDs and PFDs: Create high-level process drawings and ensure they meet all applicable standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Projects and Process Teams: Work closely with the project team and process engineers to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and procedures.
  • Review Vendor Drawings and Design Data: Review and verify vendor drawings and design data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with the project team and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Produce Discipline-Specific Deliverables: Produce high-quality deliverables that meet Primero Group's, the client's, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • TAFE Diploma of Engineering or Equivalent: Hold a TAFE Diploma of Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Basic Knowledge of Design Theories and Principles: Have a keen interest and basic knowledge of design theories, principles, and practices.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Proven ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving and Planning Skills: Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
