About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Environmental Health and Safety initiatives. This role will focus on developing, implementing, and refining EHS procedures and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This position works closely with our operations team to drive safety and environmental performance. You will provide expert advice and support to various teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • EHS Advisory and Compliance Support: Offer guidance to management and safety committees on EHS matters, providing expertise in areas such as environmental reporting, ergonomics, electrical safety, and hazardous materials.
  • Incident Management and Investigation: Oversee incident and near-miss investigations, conduct follow-ups, and manage workplace injury administration and return-to-work programs.
  • Program Coordination and Auditing: Coordinate environmental and safety programs, conduct audits, inspections, and training to ensure compliance.
  • Project and Change Management: Review new chemicals, equipment, and processes; participate in capital project reviews and ensure EHS integration in new initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Industry Engagement: Track safety metrics, interpret regulations, develop training programs, and participate in industry groups to benchmark and improve practices.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related discipline or demonstrated experience within the EHS field, 3+ years working in an EHS role, and ideally 3+ years of experience working with regulatory requirements within a service, office, distribution, and warehouse environment.
