Occupational Therapist - Grade 3 Community Therapy Services

This is a dynamic and engaging opportunity to join our experienced multidisciplinary team as an Occupational Therapist. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the delivery of occupational therapy services in our community setting.

  • You will have a key role in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatment programs to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to identify and address individualised goals and priorities.
  • Utilise your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships and facilitate collaboration across the multidisciplinary team.
  • Apply your expertise and knowledge to provide innovative solutions and evidence-based practices that enhance patient well-being and achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to contribute to the development of policies, procedures and service improvements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation to ensure comprehensive patient care and administrative requirements are met.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following essential qualities:

  • Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working in a hospital or community based environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Highly developed time management and organisational skills.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
