We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Specialist to support the delivery of major mining projects. This is a key role that will play a critical part in ensuring the successful execution of these projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure high standards of technical, planning, and compliance work.

Job Description

The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for managing all facets of project execution, including subcontractor management, scope development, and project planning. They will assist with project schedules, progress reporting, and forward planning to minimize delays and ensure timely project outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing subcontractors and developing scopes of work.
  • Supporting project managers with project planning and scheduling.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
  • Assisting with procurement, material management, and the management of Technical Queries/RFIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Three plus years' experience in project engineering within mining or heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of Mining Standards, brownfield construction, and structural integrity works.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and preparing quality documentation (ITPs, ITRs, FICs).
