Quality Assurance Engineer

Job PurposeThis role is key to enabling the Brendale location to succeed in its ISO 9001:2015 certification. We are seeking a process-oriented, hands-on individual who wants to take on new challenges, learn new technologies, and work in a multi-site, multi-cultural role for the quality department.
Key Responsibilities- Create and effectively implement processes across the facility.
- Drive change and adapt to change.
- Demonstrate proficiency on processes-improvement tools and problem-solving techniques (PDCA, PFMEA, DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, A3, 8D, SCARS, ISO standards, Causal Analysis: 5 whys, root cause analysis, VSM).
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in quality-related roles.
- Sound experience in manufacturing/material inspection.
- Good experience in process implementation and improvement.
- Excellent communicator, capable of interacting with different levels of the organisation; interfacing with both customers and suppliers.
- Self-driven.
- Able to drive change and adapt to change.
