**Pedagogical Leadership Position**

Gowrie NSW is seeking an accomplished Director of Pedagogical Excellence to drive the development of high-quality early education and care programs at our centres. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the pedagogical team and develop innovative strategies that enhance the learning experience for children and families.

About the Role

  • Pedagogical Visionary: Develop and implement a comprehensive pedagogical strategy that aligns with Gowrie NSW's vision and values, focusing on inclusive and diverse practices.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with centre directors and educators to design and deliver high-quality early education and care programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Educator Support: Provide coaching and mentoring to centre directors and educators, promoting ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Caregiver Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage parents and caregivers in the early education and care process, fostering a collaborative approach to supporting children's learning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement evidence-based practices that enhance the quality of care and education provided at our centres.
  • Community Partnerships: Establish partnerships with community organisations and services, promoting mutual benefit and enhancing the overall experience for children and families.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced Leader: A background in early childhood education with leadership and managerial experience in multi-site teams, within regional or metropolitan areas.
  • Pedagogical Expertise: Strong knowledge of National Law, Regulations, and the National Quality Standard, with a deep understanding of how to drive pedagogical performance.
  • Innovative Thinker: Ability to develop innovative solutions and strategies that enhance the learning experience for children and families.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence.
  • Collaborative Leader: Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
