Meka Recruitment is seeking a skilled Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner to join their team in Eagle Farm, QLD. This role requires maintaining the plant and ancillary equipment, contributing to continuous improvement, participating in root cause analysis activities, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the plant and ancillary equipment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices, and procedures
  • Participate in root cause analysis activities
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping
  • Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks

Required Qualifications:

  • Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner
  • Minimum 5 years experience outside of your apprenticeship
  • Open QLD licence and own transport to get to and from work
  • Relevant mechanical and fabrication experience
  • Previous experience or exposure to the production or manufacturing environment
