About the Role

This is a Full-time Finance Manager position that will collaborate with the country team to help with the work. The position will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for keeping updated the developments and initiatives for the team agenda under its responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting operations, including managing banks and outsourced functions.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and a system of controls over accounting transactions.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Process Region payroll in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Issue monthly financial statements for the Cluster.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate quarter and annual reports.
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecast.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Finance & Accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
  • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting (accounts payable/general ledger, financial chart of accounts).
  • Good knowledge of and corporate procedures and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure).
  • Fluent or capable of working in Spanish and English.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Must have strong work ethics.
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact with employees in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
