Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced body craftsman to shape and restore heavy vehicle exteriors to their original condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine the best course of repair work for damaged vehicles according to job sheets.
- Fabricate, replicate, and repair bodies of trailers, trucks, and fridges to meet quality standards.
- Weld repaired vehicles to a high standard.
- Advise on additional parts required not originally quoted on estimates.
- Cordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Notify of product shortages that restrict production.
- Check schedules daily to meet timeframes.
- Maintain company equipment as you would your own tools.
Requirements
- Bus body repair experience is essential.
- A trade qualification is also required.
- The ability to work independently while being part of a team is necessary.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with tool usage and maintenance is required.
