Role Overview

This is a leadership opportunity within our organisation. As a specialist practitioner, you will be responsible for the operational support and clinical oversight of child-inclusive practice across various programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and training to practitioners delivering work with children and families
  • Attending team, leadership, and project meetings
  • Coordinating group work alongside therapists
  • Supporting the rollout of specialist trauma interventions, including therapy sessions for children
  • Embedding frameworks across programs
  • Building capacity internally and externally to ensure best practice in a Child Safe Organisation context

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced professional with relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling. You should have at least 5 years' experience in counselling and therapy with children and families. Strong experience managing high-conflict families with complex needs and demonstrated expertise in post-separation and family violence contexts is highly desirable.

  • Describe your experience in coaching and mentoring the supervision of Child and Adolescent therapy and Family Therapy
  • Explain how you would incorporate Child Safe Organisation Principles when supporting the growth of CIP internally and externally
