Systems Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Systems Development Manager to lead our team of analysts in delivering high-impact insights and transforming data into a powerful strategic asset.

You will partner with stakeholders across Sales, Stores, and wider Trade functions to enable smarter, data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor a Team: Foster a high-performance and collaborative culture by leading and mentoring a team of analysts.
  • Define Analytics Roadmap: Work in partnership with the Trade Analytics Manager to define and deliver the analytics roadmap.
  • Design Scalable Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Translate Complex Data: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards are consistently applied.
  • Partner with Leaders: Partner with leaders across the business to understand needs and deliver meaningful insights.
Requirements

Proven Expertise:

  • Proven expertise in business intelligence or data analytics, including leadership experience.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling (DAX, Power Query, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience in retail, store operations, or supply chain.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
