We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to delivering programs and services that meet the needs of our community. Our Kinship Care Program provides support and education to kinship carers, enabling them to provide a stable and nurturing environment for young people in their care.
As a Kinship Care Specialist, you will work closely with our team to provide outreach support, education, and training to kinship carers. You will also facilitate regular support groups and events to ensure that carers have access to the resources and services they need.
The role requires a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by kinship carers, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for building relationships with carers, stakeholders, and other professionals to promote the Kinship Care Program and secure new referrals.
