Job Title: Administrative Support Officer

The role requires efficient administrative and clerical support services to the Director of Nursing (Deloraine) and staff at Deloraine District Hospital and Community Service Centre.

The team provides healthcare services to the Meander Valley community, striving to deliver personalized care in a calm, welcoming and warm environment. Our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake administrative and clerical support to the Director of Nursing (Deloraine), maintaining an efficient flow of information to and from the office.
  • Provide secretarial support in drafting, editing and preparation of routine correspondence, reports, statistical data and other documents as required.
  • Coordinate equipment, room bookings including video conferencing facilities, consulting rooms and University Department of Rural Health accommodation.
  • Contribute actively to the organization's Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes.

You will need:

  • Solid understanding of office management principles.
  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, calendar, mail, and database systems.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to organize and prioritize duties, working relatively independently while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to timeframes.
