Heavy Haulage Driver Role

We are seeking an experienced driver to operate a multi/heavy combination vehicle out of our Melbourne site.

Our working roster is five and a half days per week with set start and finish times.

You will be responsible for loading and delivering raw materials to multiple sites across the Melbourne metro area.

If you have 12 months experience driving a heavy haulage vehicle, we will train you in all areas required to become a competent driver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safety compliance at all times
  • Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations and fatigue management guidelines
  • Load & deliver raw materials efficiently
  • Complete relevant documentation accurately
  • Maintain professional customer relationships and provide exceptional service
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean and tidy, performing regular maintenance checks
  • Undertake general yard duties and plant housekeeping tasks

Requirements for Success:

  • Hold a valid Heavy Rigid or MC Licence
  • Previous heavy haulage experience beneficial
  • Relevant industry experience desirable
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety
  • A reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively within a small team environment
