Senior Public Health Research Associate

About this opportunity
- Were seeking a talented researcher to undertake a sexual and reproductive health needs assessment of temporary migrants to Australia under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Scheme in rural and regional NSW.
As a research associate, you will support investigators to conduct qualitative interviews, analyze data using suitable software, draft project reports and manuscripts for publication, prepare presentations of findings to stakeholders, and assist other team members with ad-hoc projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with researchers and stakeholders to identify and recruit study participants
- Conducting qualitative interviews and analyzing data using suitable software
- Drafting project reports and manuscripts for publication
- Preparing presentations of findings to stakeholders
- Supporting other team members with ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- PhD in an infectious diseases/sexual and reproductive health/public health-related field (desirable)
- Sound experience in qualitative research methods including framework analysis
- Pasifika background and/or experience conducting qualitative research with Pacific Island communities is highly desirable
- Current Good Clinical Practice certification (desirable)
