About the Role:
KBR is a leading provider of science, technology, and engineering solutions to governments and companies worldwide. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new opportunities that align with our strategic plan and business goals.
Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Business Development, you will be responsible for building and maintaining market intelligence, establishing relationships with clients and stakeholders, and leading business pursuits from early shaping activities through to contract signature.
You will be the primary link between the Capture Team and clients, working closely with them to understand their goals and issues. Your knowledge and understanding of the client's needs will enable you to shape the win strategy, dominant themes, and differentiators, ultimately delivering a winning bid and bringing the pursuit to a successful conclusion.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to pursue multiple new business opportunities concurrently, lead bids, and secure Defence contracts. You will also possess extensive and relevant networks across Defence, Federal Government, Industry, and Academia, as well as hold an Australian Government security clearance or demonstrate an ability to be granted one.
