Job Opportunity: Care Worker for Elderly Clients

We are seeking a skilled care worker to join our team in Kempsey. As a care professional, you will be providing home help services and personal care to our aged clients.

Responsibilities:
  • General Housekeeping and Hygiene: Providing a clean and safe environment for our elderly clients, including general housekeeping and making beds.
  • Cleaning and Laundry Services: Cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as washing, folding, and ironing laundry.
  • Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping: Preparing meals and purchasing groceries for our clients' needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with Daily Activities: Getting clients out of bed, showered, and dressed for the day, assisting them with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Providing Complex Care: Offering complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, and providing social and emotional support.
  • Transportation and Respite Services: Providing transportation to lifestyle activities or appointments and helping family carers to have a break or pursue other interests.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a similar professional role.
  • Experience in aged care.
  • An open class Australian Driver's Licence.
  • An own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
