About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team at AccountAbility. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll duties on a fortnightly basis, processing Superannuation, Workers' Compensation, and PAYG tax, and responding to payroll enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll duties, including processing payroll, superannuation, and workers' compensation
  • Interpret awards, specifically health awards, to ensure accurate payroll processing
  • Respond to payroll enquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Process payroll for approximately 3,000 employees
Requirements
  • End-to-end payroll experience with a focus on high-volume payroll processing
  • Previous experience working in a contract capacity, with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret multiple awards, preferably health awards or SCHADS
