Payroll Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team at AccountAbility. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll duties, including processing Superannuation, Workers' Compensation, and PAYG tax.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll duties on a fortnightly basis, processing approximately 3,000 transactions.
  • Interpret awards, specifically health awards, such as nursing and allied health.
  • Respond to payroll enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Process Superannuation, Workers' Compensation, and PAYG tax.
  • Respond to customer service queries about pay.
Requirements:
  • End-to-end payroll experience with a high-volume payroll background.
  • Previous experience working in a contract capacity, with the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Experience interpreting multiple Awards, preferably health awards or SCHADS.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
