**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
- Conduct major repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, and other critical components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy diesel trucks and trailers.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow.
**Requirements:**
- Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience working with diesel engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence preferred but not essential.
