Packing Assistant Job

Green Camel is one of the largest Organic Growing Facilities in Australia growing Tomatoes and Qukes (Baby Cucumbers).

This role offers the perfect opportunity for a highly motivated, Packing Assistant, to join our dedicated production team. Reporting to the Packhouse Supervisor, you will assist in the Packing of our products.

The team is a multicultural group that values a fun, friendly and close knit environment. We want to find someone who is willing to become part of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Sorting & Packing product to customers specifications within required timeframe
  • Packing and labelling customer orders

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail
  • Own transport - public transport is not available to this location
  • Need to be punctual and on time
  • Flexible finish times
  • Adhere to all company procedures, policies and WHS

Working Conditions:

  • Working in a large indoor packing facility
  • Standing for 8 - 10 hours per shift, with breaks
  • Repetitive low muscle load movement of hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulder, neck

Additional Information:

  • Shifts are mostly rostered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday during winter and Monday to Friday during Summer months - 06:30am start
  • All staff members needs to be fully vaccinated.
  • Ability to commute/relocate:
    • Cobbitty, NSW 2570: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
  • **Experience**: Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
  • Work Authorisation:**Australia (required)
