Production Packing Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our production team as a Meat Packer.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient packing services in the production facility, working collaboratively in a team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Rotate through various production roles, including sausage and mince making
- Ensure all packed boxes are placed on the appropriate pallets and safely moved to the dispatch area
- Operate the cry vac machine correctly to suction and wrap products
- Manage personal machines, cleaning and maintaining them throughout their shift
- Assist with daily and ongoing cleaning and maintenance of the factory, and assist other butchering colleagues with general cleaning and closing the factory at the end of each day
- Support with general maintenance of the warehouse
Skills & Experience
- Meat industry experience is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in process and or production units
- Excellent physical fitness and strength
