Job Overview

The Senior Clinical Practitioner will be responsible for leading and developing clinical practice in wound, infection, and continence care. This is an excellent opportunity to integrate expertise with strategic capabilities and make a positive impact.

You will work collaboratively with the Quality and Risk team to support Residential Aged Care, Home Care and Independent Living teams.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Developing and implementing contemporary, evidence-based wound, continence care and infection control policies and practices
  • Providing expert leadership and guidance to healthcare professionals, older people and families
  • Fostering a culture of compassionate care and dignity for older people and their families
Key Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner by NMBA & Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated NP experience in aged care with wound specialty
  • Advanced degree in nursing (Master's degree or higher)
  • Min 10 years clinical nursing experience, ideally in wound and pressure injury prevention
  • Strong wholistic clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in using telehealth and other digital solutions to provide remote support
  • Proven leadership and commercial experience in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of aged care and end-of-life care's legal and ethical considerations
  • Project management experience
