Job Opportunity

The role of Quality and Education Manager is a vital position within an organisation, focusing on delivering quality care and services. This includes identifying areas for improvement, supporting corrective actions, and coaching the leadership team to ensure sustainability.

About the Role

  1. Provide quality-focused leadership and guidance to team members.
  2. Guide documentation and recording processes to meet expected outcomes.
  3. Develop team members' knowledge of practice expectations within industry standards and their scope.
  4. Identify skills or knowledge gaps and create development plans.
  5. Ensure team and organisational readiness, maintaining currency of key requirements.
  6. Maintain a Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) and track progress with leadership.
  7. Complete regular Quality Indicator Reports, analyse data, and implement improvements.
  8. Ensure timely submission and analysis of performance data, with documented enhancements.
  9. Coordinate regular Audits within the operational audit program.
  10. Manage and deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care for residents, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
  11. Maintain accurate records in compliance with policies, legislation, and privacy regulations.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment are desirable.
  • Proven experience in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, and training.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationships.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, industry standards, and outcomes.
