At Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, we're seeking a highly skilled Instrumental Music Instructor to deliver exceptional instrumental music education to our students. This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant learning community and inspire young minds through the power of music.
About the RoleThis fixed-term position will see you teaching individual students as well as leading student music ensembles. We're looking for someone with a strong passion for music education and a willingness to promote a culture of positivity and excellence. As an Instrumental Music Instructor, you'll have the opportunity to extend and challenge students in their learning, fostering their musical growth and development.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instrumental music education to students, including viola lessons
- Lead student music ensembles and develop students' musicianship both individually and as part of a group
- Extend and challenge students in their learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and promote a culture of positivity and excellence
Mac.Robertson Girls' High School is one of four selective entry high schools for high-ability learners in Victoria, catering for 1200 young people in Years 9-12. Our school offers outstanding facilities for the delivery of our programs and is attended by students from metropolitan Melbourne and beyond.
