**Melbourne-Based Music Teachers Required**

We are currently looking for new music teachers to deliver local and/or online lessons to students based in Melbourne, VIC. Teachers **MUST** be a full-time resident of Australia or hold a current Australian working visa. We do not sponsor visas for international applicants.

Music tutors may elect to work in their chosen area/s of expertise with primary, secondary, tertiary and/or adult students. Our tutors enjoy a flexible arrangement where they can choose a range of working preferences to best support their professional needs.
- Our tutors enjoy:_
- The ability to teach locally (at the tutor’s location or student’s location) and/or provide online lessons to students nationwide.
- The ability to set their own working hours to suit lifestyle requirements and fit in with existing commitments/work.
- The ability to select a suitable rate of pay in accordance with their experience and expertise. On average, our tutors earn between $60 - $100/hr.
- The ability to stipulate preferred ages taught and levels taught.

Lessons Australia offers lessons in the following fields:

- Piano & Keyboard
- Brass (Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Baritone, Tuba)
- Woodwind (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet, Cor Anglais)
- Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Harp)
- Voice (Singing)
- Music Theory
- Conducting
- Percussion (Drums and Orchestral Percussion)


**Music teachers must meet the following criteria**:

- Tutors **MUST **be a full-time resident of Australia or hold a current Australian working visa. We do not sponsor visas for international applicants.
- Whilst not mandatory, tutors are encouraged to hold a current Working with Children Check or recent Police Check.
- Have at least 2 hours per week of availability for new students.
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and educating students.
- Must have an appropriate understanding of technology if electing to teach online.
