Transport Safety Specialist

This role involves working collaboratively to address the pressing issue of road safety in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking innovative thinkers and problem-solvers who can help us develop solutions to reduce the number of deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Dive into research and apply first principles thinking to come up with real solutions that improve transport safety for everyone
  • Challenge existing practices in road asset engineering, vehicle technology, understanding of human behaviours, and societal culture as they affect road safety outcomes
  • Collaborate with talented teams to offer expert advice and technical know-how to government, road authorities, industry leaders, and more
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as civil engineering, transportation systems, or road safety
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in transport safety, road/rail/ports & airports design or traffic engineering
  • Ability to apply first principles thinking to unstructured problems and drive results-oriented innovation
