District Cancer Services Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant - Grade 3 to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a mixed clinical environment, providing expert clinical consultancy and services across multiple services within the speciality.
About the RoleThe Clinical Nurse Consultant - Grade 3 will contribute to quality healthcare by working with healthcare providers and consumer groups to develop and implement clinical practice standards. This role will also involve providing clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff, as well as engaging in education and research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical consultancy and services within a mixed clinical environment across multiple services within the speciality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and consumer groups to develop clinical practice standards and evaluate their outcomes
- Formulate and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff and act as a role model in the oncology speciality and across the broader multidisciplinary team
- A strong background in nursing and a relevant qualification
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a mixed clinical environment across multiple services within the speciality
- Strong leadership and clinical supervision skills
