Design User Experiences

We are seeking a creative Associate Experience Designer to collaborate with designers and developers in shaping the user experience of our mobile games. The successful candidate will design, build, test, and implement the user interface from initial flows and wireframes through prototypes to final in-game layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce UI artwork in accordance with the direction of the Art Lead, Designer, and Producer.
  • Design and implement an aesthetically appealing, innovative, and engaging user-experience.
  • Work closely with designers and programmers to improve the user experience.
  • Communicate effectively within a small, motivated game team.
  • Advocate for the player experience, identify and remove dark patterns, while preserving the game's unique design.
  • Solve graphical and technical limitations within existing and evolving UI style.
  • Report status of the project to your lead and to major stakeholders of your current feature.

Requirements:

  • A strong design and typography portfolio.
  • Strong iconography skills.
  • Videogame and/or relatable App UI experience within Web or Digital.
  • Mobile UI, Console, or PC experience is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) or Figma.
  • Experience with keyframe animation in support of interface elements.
  • Ability to learn in-house UI development tools.
  • A passion for video games, art, and improving user experiences is a must.
