About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our software engineering team in Sydney. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our software architecture and ensuring the successful delivery of our products.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering managers, architects, and product organization to define and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for leading planning and development activities, maintaining deep understanding of software architecture, and mentoring junior engineers.

As a senior representative of our engineering team, you will ensure adherence to coding standards, provide architectural guidance, and participate in planning sessions. You will also collaborate with other teams to achieve seamless integrations between multiple projects.

Your expertise in software development, architecture, and leadership will help drive the evolution of our software and ensure it meets the changing needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the planning and development of new products and processes, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and best practices.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of software architecture, including design execution, delivery, and maintenance of entire feature areas.
  • Provide architectural guidance, mentor junior engineers, and participate in planning sessions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve seamless integrations between multiple projects.
  • Develop software design and requirements, implement them according to relevant standards, and ensure code quality meets expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development, architecture, and leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge industry trends and thorough understanding of development methodologies and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
