Job Description

This role plays a pivotal part in driving a business partner-centric operational model, ensuring software and hardware assets are managed efficiently, compliantly, and with maximum value for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders to track, facilitate, and optimise software and hardware contract renewals.
  • Advise on solutions to meet business requirements while ensuring procurement of only approved products.
  • Validate asset usage, meet financial requirements, and monitor lifecycle stages including End-of-Life, version management, and fleet size.
  • Work with technology teams to design and execute transition strategies for assets and contractual arrangements.
  • Identify licensing risks, non-compliance, and mitigation strategies through strong control mechanisms.
  • Ensure all standards, processes, and reporting meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in software asset management, including direct dealings with software vendors, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative skills.
