Key Role: Elevator Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

As an Elevator Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of elevators within your designated territory. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance tasks, respond to breakdowns, and ensure that all elevators are functioning properly.

This is a hands-on position that requires a strong understanding of elevator systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will work independently, managing your own schedule and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance checks on elevators, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of moving parts.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, diagnosing and repairing elevator malfunctions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of elevators, identifying and addressing any potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, with experience working with electronics.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in elevator maintenance, with a proven track record of success.
  • A valid electrical license and a driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
