This is a senior compliance role that requires expertise in financial services, risk management and regulatory requirements.

The Compliance Business Partner will be responsible for implementing the compliance framework, improving compliance practices and enhancing the overall risk profile of the organization.

This involves collaboration with various departments to ensure business-wide compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and maintain the existing compliance framework.

- Identify potential areas for improvement and work with senior team members to implement changes.

- Align the organization's compliance framework with relevant industry standards and best practices.

- Provide updates on compliance activities for governance reporting.

Technology Utilisation:

- Assist in integrating technology into compliance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Monitoring & Supervision:

- Monitor compliance activities as new compliance tools and components of the compliance framework are rolled out to the business.

Business Support:

- Work with Management to provide coaching and support in improving compliance practices.

- Assist in reviewing compliance training for employees.

Collaboration:

- Collaborate with Management to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into business processes.

- Attend internal compliance forums with subject matter experts across the business to advise on compliance and regulatory updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance, risk management or a related field within the financial services industry is preferred.

- Understanding of Superannuation and APRA Prudential Requirements is highly desirable.

- Basic understanding of AFSL regulatory requirements and obligations.

- Willingness to learn and develop in the compliance field.
