Our organization is seeking a seasoned compliance professional to lead our regulatory efforts in Australia and New Zealand. This key position plays a vital role in ensuring that our business operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, while also driving the achievement of our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and Implementing Compliance Programs
  • Providing Strategic Compliance Advice and Counsel
  • Driving Interpretation and Implementation of Regulatory Changes
  • Leading Compliance Aspects of Business Transformation Projects
  • Advocating for Fair Client Outcomes and Regulatory Expectations
  • Ensuring Product Launches Meet Regulatory Requirements
  • Proactively Identifying Commercial Opportunities and Risk Mitigation Strategies
  • Overseeing AML/CTF Compliance Programs
  • Managing Regional Relationships with Key Stakeholders
  • Serving as AFSL Responsible Manager
Requirements:
  • Financial Services Expertise: Minimum 7+ years experience in senior compliance roles
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASIC regulations and AML/CTF rules
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage compliance teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Framework Implementation: Proven track record of implementing robust compliance frameworks
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Local Market Expertise: Deep understanding of Australian financial services market dynamics
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Commerce, Law, Finance, or related field
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive understanding of financial products and services, risk assessment, and mitigation capabilities
