The primary objective of this role is to respond to external service requests from customers, promote the sales of parts, equipment, and services, and ensure quality standards are met according to deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving customer needs by studying system requirements and developing proactive responses to faults, maintenance, or modernization topics.
  • Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, and recognizing spare parts sales opportunities.
  • Maintaining customer confidentiality and documenting service and installation actions.
  • Working with departments/business units to resolve customer issues and preparing service quotations.
  • Notifying internal/external services about equipment brought back to the workshop for assessment, overhaul, etc.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Minimum Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or similar trade
  • 5 years of field service or hydraulic system experience
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge
  • High focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Dynamic performance and achievement
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
