Logistics Expert Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Logistics Expert. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods both domestically and internationally.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Goods Movement: The successful candidate will oversee the transportation of goods via ocean, air, or land, adhering to local and international regulations.
  • Pre-Shipment Coordination: They will coordinate with service providers to ensure timely and efficient shipment of cargo.
  • Cargo Management: Plan and execute the movement of shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all shipping requirements and transactions.
  • Data Analysis: Gather data on service provider value and analyze business needs to optimize logistics operations.
  • System Utilization: Leverage logistics systems to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Monitor data trends to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Packing and Labeling: Ensure accurate packing, marking, labeling, and measurement of cargo for precise weight and dimensions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements: A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Engineering is required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in logistics is preferred.
  • Certifications: IATA/IMDG certification may be required based on scope of work.
