Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Professional to play a key role in modernizing our business intelligence environment. This role involves rebuilding legacy reports, integrating with modern data platforms, and collaborating closely with domain experts to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Rebuild and modernize existing legacy reports to ensure business continuity and accuracy
  2. Design and build interactive dashboards and data models integrated with Databricks and Azure-based sources
  3. Develop efficient and reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic models
  4. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and SMEs to validate requirements and align outputs with financial business logic
  5. Ensure all visuals adhere to best practices in data visualization, governance, and performance optimization
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience delivering Power BI solutions in complex, enterprise environments
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries
  • Deep expertise in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling (star schema, snowflake, normalization)
  • Experience integrating with Databricks and querying Delta Lake or Spark tables
  • Strong knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse)
  • Familiarity with source control and CI/CD workflows (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart)
