At Ventia, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Support Staff to join our team at RAAF Base East Sale.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm providing you with a great work-life balance.

About The Role:

As a Culinary Support Staff, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the meal and service areas.
  • Preparing and cleaning food preparation equipment.
  • Assisting with stock takes and inventory control activities.
  • Reporting any potential safety issues and complying with site-specific safety requirements.
  • Assisting with basic food preparation as requested by the Head Chef.

About You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Relevant experience as a Kitchen Hand in a fast-paced environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • An understanding of hygiene practices and the food safety program.
  • The ability and willingness to follow instruction.
  • Good communication skills.
