As per Tasmanian state award, this role attracts an attractive salary commensurate with experience. As a senior medical specialist, you can expect to earn between $150,000 - $250,000 AUD annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
Job Description
The Registrar positions are responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the hospital and work under the direction and supervision of Consultants and Senior Medical Staff, therefore providing great support to learn and develop ED skills. This busy Emergency Department attends to the needs of approximately 65,000 patients each year. With a 36-month ACEM accreditation for comprehensive training and a Tier 1 designation, it is a high-quality institution for medical education and a workplace-based assessment (WBA) hospital.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- General, Provisional or Limited registration with AHPRA registration/ able to obtain AHPRA registration.
- SIMGs that have been assessed by ACEM and deemed partially or substantially comparable.
- IMGs that have completed the AMC MCQ (part 1)
- IMGs that are eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (work experience in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
