Job Title: Hospitality Assistant
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide support in the coordination of daily hospitality services including food preparation and customer service.
About You:
We are seeking a team-oriented individual who is proactive, positive, and organised with excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to work independently and also participate effectively in a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of the day-to-day service of the canteen.
- Support the Mt Macedon Campus as required.
- Food preparation for Hospitality classes as required.
- Undertake daily/weekly orders ensuring fresh produce and timely deliveries.
- Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements.
- Cleaning duties as scheduled in Hospitality and food areas.
- Provision of customer service to students, staff and visitors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Well developed time management and planning skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Confident communication style.
- Comfortable working with students.
