Job Description

This challenging yet rewarding position involves working in a multidisciplinary team approach, providing therapy for patients with various mental health issues. Key responsibilities include delivering groups to our eating disorder programs, menu planning, and collaborating with the broader Geelong Clinic team to provide outstanding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate nutrition-based therapy groups responsive to patient needs within a private psychiatric setting.
  • Deliver dynamic evidence-based group programs that are engaging and interactive for patients as part of our comprehensive Eating Disorder Program.
  • Conduct individual dietetic assessments and reviews of inpatients.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, upholding Healthscope's values.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, supervision of dieticians, and service evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications and registration in Dietetics as recognized in Victoria.
  • Experience working with clients with mental health issues.
  • High-level organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
