Job Title: Information Services Manager

This position involves managing medical records, including paper, hybrid, and electronic systems. The successful candidate will possess exceptional accuracy and proficiency in working with various computer systems and processes.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records is essential to delivering quality patient care. This includes filing, record retrieval, providing records, requesting off-site records, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the timely return of outstanding records.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for scanning medical records, conducting quality control checks, validating records, and archiving them appropriately.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisation and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to resolve errors or discrepancies in medical records.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong attention to detail and ability to follow clearly outlined processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in computer software, particularly Hospital Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and Electronic Medical Records (eMR).
