Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our Customer Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for passengers.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting passengers during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation processes. This involves handling the check-in process, verifying tickets, issuing boarding passes, and checking luggage.

You will be responsible for providing accurate flight information to passengers, including updates on delays, cancellations, and gate changes. Additionally, you will resolve passenger complaints and issues efficiently and professionally.

A key aspect of this role is offering support and answering questions regarding flight schedules, fares, routes, and policies. You will also assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and those requiring wheelchair assistance.

As a Customer Service Representative, you must ensure compliance with security procedures and protocols, including screening passengers and luggage. Furthermore, you will coordinate with other airport personnel and departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bilingual speakers of Japanese, Vietnamese, or Mandarin are encouraged to apply.

  • Maintains composure under pressure and presents themselves with confidence.

  • Physically capable of handling passenger baggage and operating wheelchairs when required.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages welcomed).
  • Confidence in using software and technology – Intermediate skills required.
  • Australian Citizen/Resident with unlimited work rights.
  • Possession of a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
